The capital of ancient Franconia. During the excursion tourists will see the central core of the city surrounded by the walls of the 15th century restaured after the WWII bombardments. The city of inventors of pocket watch and a globus, where you can see the only workshop for making knight armour, the renaissance city of Albrecht Durer. The tour will pass through two historical parts of the Old town, named after the churches of the 13th century St Lawrence and St. Sebald, separated by the Pegnitz river. There is a powerful fortress hovering over the Old town where the sessions of the Reichstag council took place in the First Reich beginning from the 10th century.
Entry to museums and castles is paid extra.
