Charles bridge tour

The first Romanesque stone and wooden bridge in Prague over the Vltava river was constructed in the 12th century during the reign of Vratislau I, king of Bohemia. This Judith bridge was destroyed by the floods in the 14th century. A new Gothic bridge was constructed by architect Peter Parler who decorate it with two towers. The Romanesque Judith tower also remains in the Lesser quarter side of the Vltava river. Tourist will see 30 barock statues decorating the gothic bridge, visit the Charles bridge museum saying about the construction of the Charles bridge and enjoy a romantic cruise with a river boat.
